Job description

Role overview

This is a remote hourly contract opportunity for a private equity professional to contribute subject matter expertise to AI training initiatives. The work centers on analyzing financial materials, shaping realistic investment scenarios, and helping refine the quality and accuracy of AI-generated outputs.

Compensation and commitment

The pay range for this engagement is $30 to $65 per hour. The expected workload is 10 to 40 hours each week, and the position is based remotely.

Key responsibilities

  • Bring hands-on knowledge of private equity deal sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio oversight.
  • Examine investment memoranda, financial models, and transaction case studies with a critical eye.
  • Create practical private equity scenarios and decision-making structures for AI training purposes.
  • Check AI-produced responses for factual accuracy, business relevance, and financial soundness.
  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders to define strong practices for reviewing financial documents.
  • Spot gaps in knowledge and suggest refinements using industry experience.
  • Share domain expertise to improve the overall quality of AI training datasets.

Requirements

  • Substantial background in private equity, investment banking, corporate development, or a closely related finance function.
  • Solid grasp of valuation, due diligence, deal structuring, and exit planning.
  • Strong analytical ability to interpret complex financial information.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Recognized expertise and credibility within the private equity space.
  • Ability to operate independently in a remote setting.
  • Meticulous approach with a strong focus on quality and detail.
