Job description
About Harvey
Harvey is changing the way legal and professional services work by bringing together advanced agentic AI, an enterprise-ready platform, and deep subject-matter knowledge to reimagine how important knowledge work is delivered for years ahead.
This is an opportunity to join at a pivotal stage and help shape a company with strong product-market fit, more than 1500 customers across 60+ countries, and significant investor backing. The pace is fast, expectations are high, and the chance to grow professionally, personally, and financially is substantial.
The team values ownership, speed, and a strong commitment to the mission. Harvey operates with three guiding principles: being decisive, keeping things simple, and never considering the work finished. The company favors clear judgment over waiting for perfect information, believes simplicity creates scale, and continually strives to improve. It is looking for people who want to do standout work alongside similarly driven teammates.
Role Overview
Harvey is seeking a Procurement Operations Manager in Dublin to join the Finance team and support global finance operations. The role focuses on creating and improving procurement operations, systems, and workflows that reduce cost, make buying easier, and deliver value across the business. This person will help build a scalable source-to-pay function, use modern tools effectively, and make sure internal teams can purchase what they need quickly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement systems and infrastructure, sourcing and supplier management, process and policy development, change management, analytics, and reporting are central to this role.
Procurement Systems & Infrastructure
- Take ownership of Harvey’s procurement stack, including Zip, Ramp, and Navan, and improve how these tools work together to remove friction for users.
- Identify weaknesses and inefficiencies across the source-to-pay process and design practical solutions that improve consistency, speed, and scalability.
- Build and launch the workflows needed to support rapid company growth and an expanding global presence.
Sourcing & Vendor Management
- Design and run sourcing processes that help teams move quickly while still maintaining strong standards for cost control and operational quality.
- Manage the contract renewal schedule and lead vendor negotiations to turn supplier relationships into measurable savings and strategic value.
- Create and maintain vendor scorecards, monitor SLAs, handle escalations, and support strong supplier performance across the company.
Process, Policy & Change Management
- Create procurement playbooks, policies, and training content from the ground up, and own documentation and communication across the change lifecycle.
- Improve efficiency by shortening cycle times and ensuring procurement tools and policies are rolled out smoothly.
- Work closely with cross-functional leaders to align procurement practices with the company’s growth plans.
Analytics & Reporting
- Develop dashboards that track spend, compliance, and cycle times to support Finance leadership with reliable decision-making.
- Use procurement data to provide a timely view of commitments, savings, and overall spend performance.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on procurement operations experience, strong systems thinking, comfort working across teams and time zones, and a practical approach to building structure in fast-changing environments.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or finance operations.
- Practical experience with modern procurement and spend management tools such as Zip, Ramp, Coupa, Navan, Airbase, or similar platforms, including setup, workflow design, and system administration.
- Strong familiarity with AI tools and an active habit of using them in day-to-day work.
- Demonstrated ability to create process and structure in ambiguous, fast-moving settings without adding unnecessary complexity.
- Proven cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience working effectively with Finance, Legal, Security, IT, and senior stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate across multiple time zones, including regular interaction with a US-based Head of Procurement and international stakeholders.
