Role overview

Flynn Group of Companies is looking for a Project Coordinator to join the Victoria branch in Saanichton, British Columbia. Flynn is a major North American commercial contractor focused on building envelopes, with a workforce of over 6,000 people and 38 branches. What you will do

  • Partner with the Site Supervisor and Project Management team to plan, coordinate, and monitor deliveries.
  • Participate in handoff and autopsy meetings.
  • Work alongside the Project Manager and Estimator to build a full material list for each project.
  • Support the Project Manager with takeoffs and pricing for change orders.
  • Prepare and issue submittal packages, samples, bonds, and insurance documents.
  • Complete warranty paperwork and send project closeout packages.
  • Support Project Managers across the full project lifecycle, including forecasting, planning, and analysis.
  • Handle product procurement and invoice processing for the Production Department.
  • Reach out to suppliers, negotiate product pricing, and stay informed on new products through learning opportunities.
  • Build and maintain supplier relationships and keep an organized record of current, past, and prospective suppliers.
  • Coordinate material orders to job sites with Project Managers and Superintendents as needed.
  • Manage invoices with accuracy and ensure they are processed on time.
  • Maintain orderly records by sorting and filing documents properly.

  • Comfort working in a busy, fast-moving environment and collaborating well with others.
