Job description

About the Role

The Project Manager will lead the project management and business analytics side of major transformation initiatives across the organization. This position is responsible for keeping projects coordinated, on track, and completed successfully.

Responsibilities

  • Bring project sponsors and stakeholders to a shared understanding of objectives, scope, milestones, and timelines through a structured project framing process.
  • Identify the right stakeholders and drive engagement so key people stay involved and informed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coach the project team on Agile SDLC practices and help embed them into day-to-day delivery.
  • Create and maintain detailed project plans in Smartsheet, including tasks, owners, deadlines, and dependencies, while partnering with subject matter experts to keep plans aligned with project goals.
  • Communicate task ownership clearly, secure commitment to deadlines, and apply change control when needed.
  • Use MS Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Smartsheet, and similar tools to support communication, integration, and collaboration across the project.
  • Plan and lead meetings with cross-functional teams, build alignment, and surface the implications of new requests, scope changes, and executive decisions.
  • Serve as the main communication link between project teams and senior leadership for status reporting, escalations, and critical decisions.
  • Monitor RAID items, work to remove blockers, and escalate issues when required to keep progress moving.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience using Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Experience with Smartsheet, MS Project, or comparable project scheduling platforms.
  • Background in project management within an Agile-Scrum SDLC setting.
  • Exposure to using AI tools to improve productivity and support daily work.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to changing tools.
  • Strong written and spoken communication abilities.
  • Collaborative approach with the ability to listen actively and work effectively in teams.
  • Solid organizational skills, including the ability to run effective meetings.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capability.
  • Ability to prioritize well and perform under pressure.
  • Comfort leading consensus discussions, even outside one’s own subject-matter expertise.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Confidence working closely with senior leaders.
