Role overview
The Project Manager will take ownership of the project from early planning through to final delivery. This role calls for someone with a strong record of leading major projects successfully, while keeping them on schedule, within budget, and aligned to high quality expectations.
Key responsibilities
- Direct the planning, execution, and end-to-end delivery of the project.
- Build and maintain project timelines, budgets, and resourcing plans.
- Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
- Track project performance, identify risks early, and put effective mitigation measures in place.
- Develop strong working relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal team members.
- Make sure all work complies with applicable regulations, codes, and safety requirements.
- Lead, coach, and support project staff to promote a collaborative, high-performing team culture.
- Prepare and share regular status updates and reports with senior leadership.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience delivering projects valued at $100 million or more.
- At least 7 years of industry experience on large-scale vertical construction projects.
- Solid knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
- Comfort with solving problems and making important decisions in a fast-paced setting.
- Familiarity with construction software and project management tools.
