Role overview
Airswift is seeking a Project Manager to support a key client on a 12-month remote contract. The role follows a 5/40 schedule and sits within a technically complex development program in a major capital project setting. You will work across multiple specialist teams and stakeholder groups to keep delivery on track.
What you’ll be responsible for
This position is focused on coordinating project delivery, keeping priorities aligned, and helping the team maintain momentum through clear management of cost, schedule, and outputs. The role plays a central part in supporting decisions and applying structured project management practices.
Responsibilities
- Manage the project scope, work breakdown structure, schedule, and economic model.
- Coordinate the various workstreams in line with the Stage Gate Framework as the project advances.
- Monitor progress and produce recurring status reports for stakeholders.
- Support procurement and contracting efforts by working with internal teams and outside vendors and suppliers.
- Confirm that each workstream’s scope and deliverables align with project requirements and specifications.
- Maintain the project risk register and run regular risk reviews and workshop sessions.
- Guide scope and objective changes through the change management process.
- Run regular progress and issue meetings with internal teams as well as contractors and suppliers.
- Maintain the project dashboard for both internal and external audiences.
Requirements
- At least 7–10+ years of progressive project management experience in offshore energy, mining, or marine environments.
- Background in delivering work within technically challenging, large capital project settings.
- Ability to influence others without having direct reporting authority.
- Strong experience engaging stakeholders, including government representatives, communities, and international organizations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A degree in engineering, science, or a closely related field.
- PMP or a similar certification is an advantage, though it is not mandatory.

The contract length is 12 months. The work arrangement is remote, and the schedule is 5/40.
Certifications
PMP or an equivalent qualification is preferred, but not essential.
