Quality Inspector

Role Overview

A major construction project in Jeddah is looking to urgently bring on a Static Mechanical QC Inspector. The position focuses on inspection and quality control for static mechanical works, especially piping, tanks, and pressure vessels.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out quality checks for piping systems, tanks, and pressure vessels.
• Verify that work follows Aramco requirements, inspection and test plans, and project specifications.
• Perform fit-up, welding, dimensional, and final stage inspections.
• Observe hydrostatic and pneumatic testing activities.
• Examine material certificates and confirm traceability throughout the work.
• Log non-conformances, track corrective actions, and ensure closure.
• Prepare and maintain QA/QC records, reports, and related documentation.
• Liaise with the client, contractors, and third-party inspection teams.

Qualification and Experience

• A diploma in Mechanical Engineering is the minimum qualification required.
• A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field is preferred.
• Additional QA/QC, Welding Inspection, or Industrial Inspection certification will be considered an advantage.
• Applicants should understand engineering fundamentals, materials, and fabrication methods.
• At least 5 years of GCC experience is required, and prior Aramco project exposure is mandatory.
