About the Team

The Talent Acquisition function works closely with business leaders, people business partners, and other cross-functional stakeholders to create an inclusive, high-quality candidate experience and hire talent that supports Roku’s goals. The team follows a one-team approach, moves with urgency, and relies on data, market knowledge, and repeatable processes to make strong hiring decisions across the recruiting lifecycle.

Role Overview

As a Recruiter on a fixed-term basis, you will manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned functions and locations. You will serve as a strategic partner to hiring teams, use market insight and business understanding to guide search strategy, and help build diverse pipelines of strong candidates. The role also requires careful process execution, high data accuracy, and a consistent focus on candidate and hiring manager experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with hiring managers to clarify role expectations, interview structure, and selection criteria, while sharing timely updates and recommendations based on the progress of each search.
  • Create and maintain strong, diverse candidate pipelines through a mix of inbound applications, outbound search, and referrals, adjusting outreach to suit market conditions and team priorities.
  • Run the recruiting process end to end, including screening, interview coordination, debrief facilitation, offer-related inputs, and pre-boarding transitions, while keeping the experience smooth and compliant.
  • Keep recruiting systems accurate and up to date, record important information quickly and correctly, and raise workflow, technology, or data issues along with practical suggestions.
  • Review market, product, and geography-based trends to shape outreach plans, campaign strategy, and location recommendations.
  • Use hiring metrics and funnel insights to guide stakeholders, improve speed and conversion, and share effective practices with the wider talent acquisition team.
  • Demonstrate Roku’s success factors in day-to-day work by acting quickly, staying effective in ambiguous situations, and approaching problems in a practical way.
  • Share pipeline updates, knowledge, and hiring trends with teammates and partners, and contribute to team initiatives and process improvements.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience managing full-cycle recruiting in product-based companies, including sourcing, stakeholder management, and closing candidates.
  • Ability to work as a consultative partner and influence interview and hiring decisions using data and market intelligence.
  • Experience building and converting diverse talent pipelines using modern recruiting tools, talent communities, campaigns, and multi-channel outreach.
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to align recruiting actions with business goals, cycles, and changing market conditions.
  • Good process discipline and data accuracy, with familiarity in recruiting systems and compliance practices.
  • A proactive, action-oriented approach with comfort handling ambiguity and solving problems resourcefully.
  • Interest in AI, including hands-on use or active exploration of generative AI for recruiting-related work.
  • Commitment to inclusive hiring practices and culturally neutral language that helps attract a broad and diverse applicant pool.

Work Schedule

Roku follows a hybrid setup in which teams are in the office from Monday through Thursday. Fridays are generally remote, unless the role requires five in-office days or the office follows a five-day in-office policy.
