Role overview
This position is for a Relationship Manager in the Mid Corporates division, supporting the Medium Enterprises team. The role calls for a motivated professional who can build a profitable client book, manage existing relationships carefully, and grow business through relevant banking solutions. The client segment includes businesses with turnover between ₹100 Cr and ₹500 Cr.
Key responsibilities
- Bring in new-to-bank clients within the medium enterprise segment, using market insights, referrals, and industry contacts to generate leads.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with the current portfolio while maintaining regular client engagement to support satisfaction and retention.
- Analyze financial statements and prepare detailed credit notes for both new and existing customers, assessing risk and shaping proposals in line with bank credit guidelines.
- Coordinate with internal credit stakeholders for proposal review and sanction discussions, while ensuring client needs are clearly understood and mapped to suitable products.
- Monitor portfolio hygiene by tracking renewals, compliance with limits, documentation status, and early warning indicators to protect asset quality and reduce delinquency.
- Drive cross-sell opportunities across trade finance, treasury, cash management, insurance, and working capital offerings.
Candidate profile
The bank is seeking a results-driven professional with 3–4 years of experience in corporate, SME, or medium-enterprise banking. The role is suited to someone who can balance growth with risk discipline and communicate confidently with clients and internal teams.
