Job description
Role Summary
This position serves as the bank’s primary contact for onboarded trade clients, handling their end-to-end banking needs and supporting growth across trade, liability, and treasury-related solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Acquire and manage trade-focused and high-value MSME clients for working capital needs.
- Address customer requirements for pre-shipment and post-shipment financing limits.
- Oversee the full customer journey, including acquisition, onboarding, portfolio management, activation, and attrition control.
- Increase trade income by expanding wallet share across new and existing trade accounts.
- Bring in new trade clients as well as high-value liability customers.
- Support trade transaction processing and help ensure smooth straight-through processing.
- Cross-sell treasury offerings such as forwards and options to trade customers.
- Offer cash management solutions to clients.

- Track and reduce pending compliance items for bills of entry and export bills.
Key Internal Stakeholders
- Risk team: to evaluate working capital limits for customers.
- OSD/CSD: to set up limits and process trade transactions.
Key External Stakeholders
- Trade and business associations: to build partnerships and generate trade client leads.
- Credit bureaus and other relevant parties: to support customer assessment and related coordination.
Qualifications and Language Requirements
The role calls for a postgraduate qualification in any specialization. No professional certification is required. The candidate should be comfortable communicating in English, Hindi, and the local language.
