About the Role
Knight Labs Inc. is looking for a Research Associate to take ownership of research assignments and support client research requirements. In this position, you will report to the Director of AI Product Strategy & Insights and play a key part in delivering high-quality research work for customers without errors. As the company shifts from bespoke agency work toward AI-powered SaaS offerings, this role will also contribute to strengthening team capacity and embedding AI-driven efficiencies into everyday processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver rapid insights, custom research engagements, and in-depth analytics for pharmaceutical and life sciences clients.
- Choose appropriate research approaches and design studies that accurately answer client needs.
- Turn insights into practical marketing and educational recommendations.
- Share findings, reports, and recommendations with clients, including handling questions and follow-up discussions.
- Oversee day-to-day research operations and help expand the team’s delivery capabilities.
- Maintain a high bar for scientific accuracy and methodological quality in all outputs.
- Partner with the Director on performance objectives, coaching, and ongoing professional growth.
- Support a team culture that values curiosity, inclusion, and collaboration.
- Work across functions to support project execution and deliver strong client outcomes.
Qualifications & Experience
- A post-secondary or graduate qualification in sociology, anthropology, psychology, or a closely related discipline.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in qualitative research.
- 2 to 4 years of experience delivering research and insights within health and wellness settings.
- Hands-on exposure to social listening or social analytics platforms such as Brandwatch or Meltwater.
- Background in market research, in-depth analytics, or medical communications.
- Prior exposure to the life sciences or pharmaceutical sector is strongly preferred.
- Solid understanding of research methodology and careful data validation practices.
- Ability to convert complex clinical or pharmaceutical questions into clear, actionable research outputs.
- Interest in artificial intelligence, automation, and forward-looking ways of working.
- Strong planning skills with a proven ability to manage complex workstreams effectively.
