Role overview
Hostaway is hiring a Sales Development Representative to help expand its presence across the APAC region. The company is a leading AI-enabled vacation rental management platform used by more than 20,000 property managers around the world. It is a profitable, fast-growing business and the first unicorn in the short-term rental property management system space.
This position is fully remote, but applicants must be physically located in Australia or New Zealand so they can work effectively with teammates, peers, and internal stakeholders in the region.
What you will do
- Research target accounts and identify key decision-makers in APAC-focused industries.
- Carry out outbound prospecting through phone calls, email campaigns, and social selling to create interest and qualify potential leads.
- Speak with prospects to understand their goals, challenges, and business needs, then present the value of Hostaway’s products and services.
- Partner with the sales team to plan and run outreach campaigns and follow-up activities that improve engagement and conversions.
- Keep CRM records accurate, current, and complete for every interaction and activity.
- Work with marketing to share feedback on lead quality and campaign performance, while using marketing assets to support outreach.
- Consistently hit or exceed monthly and quarterly goals for qualified meetings and pipeline creation.
What the company is looking for
- Prior experience in outbound B2B SaaS sales.
- A history of surpassing targets and performing well in a high-pressure, results-focused sales environment.
- Strong prospecting and cold-calling ability, with confidence in building relationships by phone and email.
- A proactive, self-driven mindset with a strong sense of ownership and initiative.
- Good organization skills and close attention to detail, with the ability to handle several priorities at once.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well across functions.
- Experience with CRM platforms such as HubSpot and sales engagement tools such as Outreach or SalesLoft is advantageous.
- Excellent spoken and written English skills.
- Knowing a second language would be an added benefit.
