Company Overview
Everlast Gyms Leeds Birstall is hiring a Sales Host to join its team in Batley, England. The role is built around delivering a premium member experience while helping drive sales, retention, and club standards. This position is scheduled for 20 hours per week, with additional hours available when needed.
What the Role Involves
- Create a high-quality experience for every prospect, member, and guest, using each interaction as a chance to support both sales and retention.
- Actively pursue membership sales, renewals, upgrades, and additional revenue through food and beverage, retail, and fitness product sales.
- Turn enquiries into memberships by handling objections confidently, selling to customer needs, and following up effectively.
- Help keep members engaged and retained by building relationships, spotting those at risk of leaving, and suggesting relevant services and products.
- Lead personalised gym tours based on each person’s goals and explain how the club’s facilities and services match those needs.
- Consistently work toward and surpass individual and club performance targets.
- Act as a competent key holder when required, including opening, closing, and covering shifts smoothly.
- Use the membership platform and other internal systems confidently after training.
- Represent the brand by promoting fitness challenges, class concepts, and the Workout Wednesday initiative to increase participation and engagement.
- Support operational standards by helping maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and an excellent gym-floor appearance.
- Assist the Head Coach with gym resets and other fitness-related tasks on or off the gym floor when needed.
- Stay well informed about the club’s products and services.
- Deal with member questions and complaints in a professional manner and escalate issues to a manager where appropriate.
