Role Summary

This position is for a Scrum Master / Agile Coach who will help development teams adopt Agile ways of working, improve delivery practices, and consistently deliver business value. The role partners closely with a Senior Scrum Master to run ceremonies, clear blockers, and promote a psychologically safe, high-performing team environment.

The right candidate will blend coaching capability with hands-on project coordination skills, ensuring day-to-day execution stays aligned with wider business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Scrum Master in planning and running core Scrum events such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews/product demos, and retrospectives.
• Coach teams through problem-solving and help strengthen a durable Agile mindset.
• Support the development of new Scrum Masters across the organization through mentoring and guidance.
• Spot workflow inefficiencies and process bottlenecks, then lead practical improvements.
• Influence change within the team and with outside stakeholders in a constructive way.
• Help the team work through obstacles using a collaborative, supportive approach.
• Carry out project coordination tasks including resource alignment, activity planning, and scheduling.
• Track delivery progress, monitor key metrics, and report status against objectives on an ongoing basis.
• Support Product Owners and development teams with release planning and ongoing upkeep of sprint and release backlogs.
• Create and sustain an environment of trust where people can raise issues without fear of blame or criticism.
• Ensure the team keeps sight of immediate sprint goals while also staying connected to broader business priorities.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least 8 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in a software development or project delivery setting.
• Strong grasp of Agile principles, Scrum practices, and core project management concepts.
• Proven ability to coordinate resources, build schedules, and evaluate delivery metrics.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills for working with teams and external stakeholders.
• Strong empathy and conflict-resolution abilities focused on creating collaborative, psychologically safe teams.
