Job description
Role overview
As a Senior Analyst in Finalta Banking, you will be part of a compact project team focused on turning data into practical client recommendations. The role is centered on financial analysis, benchmarking, and insight generation for banking clients, with opportunities to visit client locations.
What the team environment is like
You will join a high-performance, high-reward culture where persistence, curiosity, and a willingness to learn are highly valued. The team places strong emphasis on mentorship, coaching, apprenticeship-style learning, and clear feedback aimed at helping you grow quickly.
- Ongoing learning supported by structured development programs and actionable feedback.
- Room to contribute ideas early and help shape outcomes while maintaining strong ethical standards.
- Access to a global network of colleagues across 65+ countries and more than 100 nationalities.
- A competitive compensation package aligned to location, experience, and skill set, along with broad benefits for employee and family well-being.
What you will do
You will partner with clients to gather information, carry out research, assess quantitative findings, and translate those findings into recommendations. You will work with the Finalta Western Europe team based in London or Frankfurt, supporting banking clients through benchmark-based analysis and best-practice insights.
Projects generally last around six months, which gives you the chance to build deep expertise in the data and subject matter. Finalta draws on more than 20 years of experience, benchmark data from 350 financial institutions across more than 50 countries, and best-practice case studies to help clients improve performance, reduce change risk, and close capability gaps.
Role outcomes
Your work will help clients objectively compare performance against peers, identify improvement opportunities, and develop a practical path toward stronger results and reduced implementation risk.
Qualifications and skills
The role calls for a strong academic background and several years of relevant analytical experience, along with excellent communication and teamwork skills. Candidates in Frankfurt must also have fluent German in addition to English.
Additional information
This position is based in Frankfurt, Hesse, Germany, and is a full-time onsite role. Travel to client sites may be required. The projects are typically six months in duration, though this is a project characteristic rather than a fixed employment term.
Terms and conditions
A competitive salary is offered, but the exact amount is not specified. Compensation depends on location, experience, and skills. Benefits are described as comprehensive, but specific items are not listed.
Eligibility and language requirements
This role is suited to candidates with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, banking, data analysis, economics, or strategy, combined with internship experience. Applicants should have at least 3 years of experience in data and financial analysis, banking, financial services, insurance, or consulting. Strong English communication is required, and fluent German is mandatory for the Frankfurt location.
