Job description
Role overview
West London NHS Trust is recruiting a Senior Communications Manager to help steer the Trust’s communications work and support the delivery of its strategic goals. This role sits within a collaborative communications team and combines operational leadership with senior-level advisory support.
What the role involves
You will oversee the day-to-day running of the Communications team, taking responsibility for planning, organising and delivering communications activity. A major part of the role is shaping channels and content so that messaging is clear, engaging and effective for both internal and external audiences.
As a senior team member, you will provide expert communications guidance for services, programmes and campaigns, and build productive relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
You will also work closely with leadership to ensure communications remain aligned with the Trust’s priorities and strategic objectives, while supporting and developing team members to help maintain a consistently high standard of service.
Working arrangement
This position is subject to the Trust’s agile working policy, and you will need to work from one of the Trust sites for at least 60% of your time.
