Overview
This role is on behalf of a partner organization, which will handle applications and all follow-up steps directly. The opportunity is for a Senior Demand Planner located in the United States.
The position is central to end-to-end demand and supply planning for device programs. It focuses on building dependable forecasts, improving procurement planning, and keeping operational execution aligned with financial targets. The work supports device lifecycle management, repair and remanufacturing activities, and inventory optimization. You will work closely with actuarial, finance, operations, and technology teams in a highly analytical environment. A major part of the role is to keep planning systems accurate, strengthen data quality, and improve forecasting methods. This is a high-impact position where your analysis directly affects supply chain performance, cost control, and service outcomes. The setting is fast-moving, cross-functional, and centered on continuous improvement, making it a strong fit for an experienced planner who combines analytical depth with hands-on execution.
Accountabilities
- Lead and continuously improve the full demand and supply planning process for device programs, with a focus on forecast quality, operational alignment, and clean data.
- Create and maintain forecasts for demand, supply, procurement, and inventory across multiple client programs.
- Work with actuarial and finance partners to sharpen claims assumptions and raise forecast precision.
- Build forecasts for repair and remanufacturing volumes to support device lifecycle and service operations.
- Support financial reforecasting through variance analysis and updates to device mix assumptions.
- Maintain planning datasets, including inventory records, pipeline information, lifecycle data, and migration matrices.
- Prepare reporting on inventory balances, open purchase orders, and planning performance indicators.
- Spot supply chain implications and share clear recommendations with financial and operational stakeholders.
- Protect the accuracy, governance, and ongoing improvement of planning tools and systems.
- Assist with system upgrades, integrations, migrations, and automation efforts.
- Create documentation standards, controls, audit processes, and escalation paths.
- Track planning workflows and implement efficiency gains across teams and platforms.
- Support forecasting and procurement planning needs tailored to individual clients.
- Develop training resources and encourage adoption of planning tools among stakeholders.
- Help ensure continuity, compliance, and dependable day-to-day planning operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
- At least 10 years of experience in supply chain planning, forecasting, or operations.
- Advanced Excel and SQL skills, including data modeling and analysis.
- Strong understanding of forecasting techniques, demand planning, and inventory control.
- Experience in high-volume, fast-paced, and matrixed business environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and business teams.
- Ability to turn complex data into practical insights and business recommendations.
- Hands-on experience with planning systems and data-led decision-making.
- Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau is preferred.
- CPIM or similar supply chain certification is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving ability and comfort managing multiple priorities independently.
