BAM UK & Ireland is looking for an experienced Senior Planner to join its civil team in Kill, County Kildare. The role focuses on creating detailed tender programmes and supporting the wider programming function on major infrastructure work across Ireland.

Key duties

The Senior Planner will be responsible for building, maintaining and managing programmes that support tender submissions and live projects. The role requires close coordination with estimators, project teams, clients and subcontractors, as well as a strong understanding of planning methods, construction sequencing and commercial impacts.

Programme and planning tools

Planning work will be carried out using MS Project, Primavera software, Asta Powerproject, P6 and 4D tools. The role also involves resource and cost loading, updating progress, and analysing programme changes.

Responsibilities

This role covers detailed programme development, tender support, short-term planning, workshop facilitation and reporting. It also includes reviewing supply chain programmes, checking programme quality, and ensuring business systems and processes are followed.
