Role overview

Claritev is hiring a Senior Project Manager to drive complex healthcare technology programs. The position centers on leading EHR rollouts, platform modernization work, and public health system initiatives, with a strong emphasis on delivery discipline, stakeholder coordination, and compliance with federal and state expectations.

What you will do

  • Own delivery across healthcare IT projects, from kickoff through completion and handoff.
  • Guide multidisciplinary teams covering technical, clinical, and operational work.
  • Act as the main point of contact for government stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Keep projects aligned with contractual, regulatory, and organizational standards.
  • Oversee planning, execution, tracking, monitoring, and final closeout activities.
  • Manage scope, risks, schedules, and outputs while helping remove blockers quickly.
  • Run status reviews, coordinate reporting, and prepare updates for leadership.
  • Support readiness for go-live events, compliance needs, and ongoing process improvements.

Required experience

  • 5–10+ years working in healthcare IT, project management, or consulting.
  • Proven background delivering large healthcare technology programs or EHR implementations.
  • Experience working with federal or state healthcare programs such as VA, DoD, CMS, or Medicaid.
  • Direct exposure to EHR systems such as Cerner, Epic, or similar platforms.

Preferred background

  • Ability to travel 25–50% and support critical milestones such as go-live.
  • Experience in consulting, federal contracting, or government settings.
  • Comfort adapting to changing priorities and evolving regulatory requirements.
  • Strong focus on security, privacy, and compliance practices.
  • PMP certification is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Oracle Health (Cerner) implementations is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of federal contracting and Agile/Waterfall delivery methods.
  • Strong capability in stakeholder communication, governance, and reporting.

Additional information

This role is based in the United States and is an onsite full-time position.
