Role Overview
The Production Operator is responsible for carrying out safe and efficient manufacturing of dry powder media in a controlled setting. The role focuses on producing high-quality output, meeting customer timelines, and maintaining the company’s standards for quality, safety, and compliance.
This role reports to the Production Manager and is based with the Production Team in Tuas, Singapore. It is a fully on-site position.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Measure, handle, and dispense bulk raw materials accurately for dry powder media production, then pack finished goods into final packaging while following procedures, good documentation practices, and environmental, health, and safety requirements.
- Manually assemble, run, and support equipment used for powder transfer, blending, and milling, ensuring work is performed according to standard operating procedures.
- Carry out thorough cleaning and sanitization of production equipment and work areas using approved cleaning materials while meeting GMP and contamination-control expectations.
Candidate Profile
The company is looking for someone with a GCE O Level, NITEC, Diploma in Manufacturing, or an equivalent qualification. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a controlled manufacturing environment is preferred, although applicants without prior experience are also welcome.
The role requires flexibility to work rotating shifts. Candidates should also be comfortable lifting, moving, or carrying materials and equipment weighing up to 25 kg, and be willing to wear the required personal protective equipment and work in controlled powder-handling areas.
Additional experience that would be beneficial includes exposure to GMP-regulated manufacturing, working in fast-paced and changing environments, the ability to read and write English, basic mathematics knowledge, and troubleshooting skills.
