Position Summary
The Senior Project Manager will spearhead complex, cross-functional projects, aiming to enhance DEUTZ Corporation's execution performance. This role is crucial for improving speed, efficiency, and transparency while upholding stringent quality and compliance standards. Beyond traditional project management, the position will champion digitalization and AI-driven practices, critically evaluate existing processes, and ensure seamless integration with Product and Program Management to translate strategic objectives into effective execution. A key objective is to boost organizational agility and delivery capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee intricate corporate and client projects from inception to the Start of Production (SOP), managing technical, commercial, and timeline aspects.
- Translate strategic product roadmaps and program priorities into actionable project plans.
- Foster collaboration and alignment among Engineering, Operations, Sales, Finance, and external customers.
- Proactively identify and manage project risks, address escalations, and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Ensure a structured and high-quality handover to series production operations.
- Utilize AI-enabled and digital tools to refine planning, forecasting, reporting, and decision-making processes.
- Streamline workflows and eliminate inefficiencies to enhance project speed and transparency.
- Critically assess and optimize established processes while ensuring quality standards are maintained.
- Improve portfolio prioritization and visibility to sharpen execution focus.
- Continuously enhance DEUTZ Corporation's project management methodologies and execution framework.

Minimum Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
- Possess at least 5 years of experience managing complex technical or industrial projects.
- Have a proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives.
- Exhibit a solid understanding of structured project management methodologies.
- Demonstrate a capacity for driving process improvements and enhancing operational efficiency.
Preferred Requirements
- Experience with AI-enhanced project management tools and sophisticated PM software.
- PMP certification.
- Background in manufacturing or industrial product sectors.
- Proficiency in both German and English languages.
Supervisory Responsibility
This role involves leading a team.
Travel Requirements
Anticipate approximately 10% domestic and 10% international travel.
Physical Requirements
- The role involves extended periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds is required.
