Role overview
Cloud5 Communications is hiring a Senior Recruiter to strengthen its Talent Acquisition team. The role is centered on end-to-end hiring for high-volume needs, especially in contact center and operations-related functions. This opportunity suits a recruiter who is comfortable in a fast-moving environment, can streamline hiring workflows, and has prior leadership experience.
This is a remote position based in Canada. Candidates who are able to occasionally travel to, or commute to, the company’s offices in Saint John, New Brunswick; Moncton, New Brunswick; or Toronto, Ontario, will be preferred.
Key responsibilities
- Own and manage the complete recruitment cycle, with the main emphasis on contact center and large-scale hiring.
- Work closely with hiring managers to clarify staffing requirements, hiring priorities, and overall talent approach.
- Create and implement sourcing plans that bring in strong candidates from several channels.
- Maintain a smooth and positive experience for applicants throughout the hiring journey.
- Track hiring metrics, pipeline status, and recruitment performance to find areas where the process can be improved.
- Help improve recruiting workflows, documentation, and ongoing process enhancements.
- Coach, mentor, and give daily support to one direct report.
- Partner with HR and business leaders on workforce planning, market insights, and hiring patterns.
- Take ownership of onboarding activities to support early engagement, readiness, and a successful start in the organization.
- Make sure hiring practices comply with relevant employment laws and internal policies.
Required qualifications
- At least 2 years of recruiting experience in high-volume hiring settings.
- Background hiring for contact center, customer support, service desk, technical support, or operations-focused positions.
- Ability to juggle multiple open roles and shifting priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong planning and organizational ability, with experience building and running recruiting processes.
- Hands-on experience using applicant tracking systems and other recruiting tools.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders.
- Experience mentoring, training, or guiding other recruiters or recruiting coordinators.
Preferred background
- Prior responsibility for direct reports or leadership of a team.
- Recruiting experience in technology, telecommunications, hospitality, managed services, or customer experience environments.
- Exposure to workforce planning and recruiting analytics.
- Experience supporting remote or geographically distributed teams across North America.
Additional information
The role is open to candidates located in Canada and is designed to be remote. Occasional travel to the company offices in Saint John, Moncton, or Toronto may be required or preferred depending on business needs.
