Role overview

Traveloka is looking for an experienced Technical Product Manager to help shape and deliver technical products that improve the platform, strengthen user and partner experiences, and support people in discovering and completing their travel plans. This position sits within a product management team that turns ideas into practical product solutions with clear business and user value.

Key responsibilities

  • Help define the technical product direction and strategy for one product line.
  • Build and maintain detailed roadmaps that combine technical input with business priorities, with attention to phases such as ideation and post-launch optimization.
  • Coach junior colleagues and encourage stronger technical understanding and closer collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Partner with engineering teams to clarify technical needs and support smooth product delivery.
  • Perform thorough market research and competitor analysis to uncover opportunities for technical and product innovation.
  • Keep track of industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices to guide strategic choices and improve technical solutions.
  • Work alongside UX/UI designers and data scientists to support unified product planning.
  • Assist with feature prioritization and backlog management under the guidance of senior leadership.
  • Track product KPIs, share performance updates, and identify areas where technical improvements are needed.
  • Remain current on trends and technologies that affect the product line.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another relevant technical discipline from a reputable university.
  • At least 6 years of product management experience, ideally in a technical role at a technology company.
  • Solid knowledge of software development approaches such as Agile and Scrum.
  • Strong analytical thinking and the ability to make decisions strategically.
  • A demonstrated history of launching products successfully and improving them over time.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong ability to work well with others.
