Role overview

The Shift Leader will be the dependable on-shift lead, guiding the team through busy service periods, setting the pace and ensuring guests receive a consistently positive experience. This position is central to maintaining strong standards in service, food quality, safety and teamwork.

This opportunity suits either an experienced shift leader or a high-performing team member ready to move into a leadership role. The company is looking for someone who wants to grow with a business that supports development and invests in its people.

Key duties

  • Set the example on shift and support the team throughout service.
  • Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations so service runs efficiently.
  • Coach and train team members to strengthen skills and confidence.
  • Ensure every guest receives a consistent, guest-first experience.
  • Assist with roster planning and organising shifts.
  • Contribute to performance targets and restaurant KPIs.
  • Maintain compliance with food safety, cleanliness and WHS expectations.
  • Monitor stock levels so kitchen and front-of-house operations stay well supplied.
