Role overview
Turkish Airlines is looking for an energetic Station Agent to support passenger service and day-to-day airport operations at its Melbourne office. The role is suited to someone who enjoys a busy setting, communicates well with travelers, and brings a proactive, service-focused approach.
Core duties
On aircraft arrival, you will greet passengers and help coordinate activities among the crew, handling agent, catering, cleaning, air traffic control, customs, and immigration teams. You will also make sure flight paperwork is completed correctly, arrange daily catering requirements, and keep detailed flight records. After departure, you will file documents accurately and carry out statistical checks on flight coupons.
If baggage goes missing, you will work with the handling agent to trace the item and arrange delivery to the passenger. Where needed, you will also support the compensation process.
Candidate profile
The company is seeking applicants with either a bachelor’s degree or at least a high school qualification, along with a minimum of one year of experience in civil aviation or tourism. Strong English skills and proficiency in the local language are required. The role also calls for the ability to stay composed under pressure, work both independently and as part of a team, manage several tasks at once, and communicate clearly in both spoken and written form.
Work conditions
This is an onsite full-time position. Shift work is expected, including overnight shifts.
