About the Role

Paramount is looking for a contract Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support its recruiting team from Los Angeles or New York City. This position suits someone who enjoys creating a smooth candidate journey while helping keep hiring operations organized and moving quickly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for candidates during the interview process.
  • Arrange large volumes of phone, video, and in-person interviews.
  • Coordinate logistics for internal meetings, candidate travel, and interview-related activities.
  • Keep job descriptions aligned and post open roles across internal and external career sites as well as specialized job boards.
  • Support background screening activities.
  • Use the SuccessFactors applicant tracking system to update and manage recruiting information.
  • Handle the new-hire process, including offer letter preparation, onboarding packet delivery, paperwork submission, and orientation scheduling.
  • Record and monitor travel and expense submissions.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of HR experience is required; internship experience can be counted, and an interest in talent acquisition is important.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace is needed.
  • A bachelor’s degree is required.

Additional Qualifications

  • Prior exposure to interview scheduling tools such as GoodTime is helpful.
  • Experience with ERP platforms, especially Oracle, is preferred.
  • A proactive mindset and the ability to adjust quickly are important.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills are expected.
  • Confidential information must be handled with discretion and professionalism.
  • The role calls for strong multitasking and sound decision-making skills.
  • Comfort working both independently and as part of a team is important.
  • Excellent organization and close attention to detail are essential.

Compensation

The hiring range for this position is $23 to $28 per hour.
