Overview

This long-term contract opportunity in Houston, TX is for a Talent Acquisition Partner who will help strengthen hiring operations for a growing business in the CST time zone. The role calls for a mix of strategic recruiting thinking and hands-on delivery, with a strong emphasis on technical and operational hiring. You will work closely with business leaders to improve recruiting performance, shape a better candidate journey, and support ongoing workforce needs.

Recruitment Operations and Strategy

  • Develop and improve hiring workflows, recruitment procedures, and the tools that support them so they can keep up with changing staffing needs.
  • Set recruiting success metrics and use data such as time-to-fill, funnel conversion, quality of hire/selection, and candidate experience to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Evaluate, choose, and fine-tune recruiting platforms and sourcing tools to improve efficiency and make reporting more useful.
  • Build and maintain a consistent, fair, and metrics-based hiring approach across teams and departments.

Vendor and Stakeholder Management

  • Negotiate with external recruiting partners on service terms, pricing, and delivery expectations.
  • Manage agency relationships by reviewing outcomes, controlling spend, and ensuring vendor support matches business priorities and hiring standards.
  • Partner effectively with leaders and hiring teams to support key talent needs and build trusted working relationships.

Recruiting Delivery

  • Handle full-cycle recruiting for important open roles, including outreach, screening, interview coordination, evaluation, and offer-related discussions.
  • Build stronger talent pipelines by connecting with professional groups, educational institutions, and relevant industry communities.
  • Represent the employer brand consistently and help create a positive, engaging candidate experience.
