Role overview
As a Technical Lead (Full Stack Developer), you will be expected to contribute across the full technology stack and support project delivery for collaborative development teams, including colleagues working remotely. The role combines hands-on development with technical leadership, stakeholder coordination, and continuous improvement.
Key technical scope
- Developing API, back-end, and front-end code in one or more programming languages.
- Working with system infrastructure, including hardware, operating systems, environment preparation, and software dependencies.
- Handling database creation, manipulation, and querying.
- Supporting project and client activities such as requirements gathering, preparing technical specifications and architecture documents, and managing delivery timelines.
- Working within Agile, Scrum, or Kanban ways of working.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical delivery for development projects within small, collaborative teams.
- Coordinate effectively with project managers, support managers, operations teams, test teams, customers, and other stakeholders.
- Escalate issues quickly and appropriately to protect the stability and quality of the development effort.
- Spot project or team risks early and work proactively with all involved parties to resolve them.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and team performance.
- Coach and support less experienced members of the development team.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of IT experience, along with solid knowledge of the .NET framework.
- At least 5 years of experience in object-oriented analysis and design for business solutions.
- Hands-on programming experience with C#, REST APIs, ASP.NET/Core, ASP.NET MVC, and Swagger.
- Working knowledge of XML web services.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft platform and SQL Server.
- Experience using DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience delivering applications in cloud environments, ideally Microsoft Azure.
- Experience working with APIs and API management platforms; Mulesoft or Google Apigee would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture is a strong plus.
- A BA/BS degree and 8+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A master’s degree is preferred.
