Truck Driver

Role overview

Knauf Metal is hiring a full-time Truck Driver / Customer Service Truck Operator based at its Geebung, Queensland site. This position combines truck deliveries with a broad mix of warehouse, trade store, and customer-facing duties.

What the role involves

You will work across day-to-day warehouse operations while also completing deliveries by truck. The job covers transport of goods, loading and unloading, paperwork, equipment care, housekeeping, and delivering a helpful customer experience.

Key duties

• Move goods safely to the required destination.
• Load and unload freight carefully to avoid damage.
• Keep delivery documentation accurate and complete all required paperwork.
• Look after operational tools and equipment, and escalate any faults or damage.
• Carry out general warehouse tasks and maintain a tidy work area.
• Interact with customers in a polite and professional way during deliveries.

About you

• You should live in, or close to, Geebung.
• Previous work in a warehouse setting is strongly preferred.
• Basic computer ability is an advantage.
• A valid HR licence is required.
• You must be available to work on-site full time from Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Requirements

• Unrestricted right to work in Australia; visa sponsorship is not provided.
• Current police check.
• Current HR licence.
• Forklift licence.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment medical assessment.
