About the role
The role sits within gTech Users and Products (gUP), where the team works to champion Google users by delivering reliable, helpful experiences across the product ecosystem. The group supports partners and consumers directly, brings user needs back to product teams, and helps shape fixes and features that improve engagement across Google’s products. It also handles product services such as localization, digitization, and partner integration so offerings work well for users across regions.
Minimum qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent level of hands-on professional experience.
- At least 5 years working in operations or business management, along with vendor management experience.
- At least 5 years using analytics or project management tools to solve business challenges.
Preferred qualifications
- Direct experience managing vendors.
- Experience with project management tools, plus strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and investigative abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence others toward ongoing operational improvement.
Responsibilities
- Track vendor performance, confirm adherence to objectives, and oversee invoice handling.
- Act as the main contact for assigned vendor partnerships and share operational or process changes with vendors.
- Lead large, complex initiatives that span multiple sites and suppliers, including execution planning, stakeholder identification, and expectation management.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, the Center of Excellence team, vendor partners, and business stakeholders to assess volume shifts, forecast demand, and plan capacity accordingly.
- Oversee financial metrics and workflow distribution for global vendor operations across multiple regions, suppliers, and platforms, while evaluating vendor data and driving improvements in SLA performance, Monthly Business Reviews, and Quarterly Business Reviews.
