Role overview
Master is seeking a Warehouse Associate for its Saint John’s branch in the Greater St. John’s Metropolitan Area. This role is focused on keeping warehouse operations accurate and efficient through receiving, labeling, storing, and tracking stock, as well as preparing customer orders with care.
The ideal candidate is dependable, highly organized, attentive to detail, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment while maintaining accurate records and consistent inventory flow.
Key duties
- Accept incoming shipments, verify quantities, and enter receipts into the computer system.
- Prepare orders for counter sales, inter-warehouse transfers, and courier shipments by picking and packing items.
- Deliver strong customer service support.
- Help load and unload parts manually or with a forklift.
- Restock shelves and arrange surplus inventory in designated overflow areas.
- Keep work areas, shelving, and the overall warehouse clean and safe.
- Follow company safety rules and procedures at all times.
- Carry out other related warehouse tasks as directed by the supervisor, including opening crates/containers, preparing orders, and handling inventory duties.
Candidate profile
To succeed in this position, you should bring a strong work ethic, the ability to stay organized, and the confidence to manage both incoming and outgoing stock carefully. The role calls for someone who can work well under pressure, show initiative, and contribute positively to a team environment.
Requirements and preferred background
- Prior experience operating a counterbalance forklift.
- Dangerous Goods certification is considered an advantage.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Good organizational ability and a collaborative mindset.
- Comfort working under pressure.
- Resourceful, self-starting approach to daily tasks.
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude toward teamwork.
