Job description

Role overview

As a Wealth Management Associate, you will provide day-to-day support to clients and partner closely with Financial Advisors, Private Wealth Advisors, and their teams. The role is centered on delivering a high-quality client experience, building trusted relationships through regular contact, and bringing a client-first approach to every interaction. You will also support activities related to digital marketing, portfolio holdings, proposal tools, and financial planning.

Client service

  • Act as a senior contributor on the service team and provide ongoing coverage for an FA, PWA, or team.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external business partners and colleagues.
  • Help deepen both new and existing client relationships by ensuring a consistently strong service experience.
  • Support the team’s client service model by preparing for meetings and tracking follow-up items.
  • Make sure client service work is completed promptly and, when needed, assign tasks to other team members on a daily basis.
  • Step in to cover traditional registered or unregistered Client Service Associate duties when requested, including money movement, responding to non-investment account questions, educating or enrolling clients in digital tools such as MS Online, and entering unsolicited or solicited orders in a clerical capacity.
  • Stay up to date on policies, procedures, and new platforms, and share reminders and best practices with the wider service team.

Business development support

  • Help the FA, PWA, or team organize and execute the business plan while coordinating with market partners such as Practice Strategy Consultants and Branch Management.
  • Carry out administrative work connected to digital and in-person marketing efforts, including conferences, seminars, webinars, websites, social media, and regular email outreach.
  • Prepare and review client reports or financial plans from approved firm systems for current or prospective clients when requested.
  • Support research tasks using approved internal systems as needed.
  • Join existing client and prospective client meetings when asked, representing the service perspective.
  • Take part in firm initiatives, training or education programs, special projects, and other duties assigned by local management.

Experience and qualifications

This position requires at least 5 years of relevant work experience. A four-year college degree or a professional certification is preferred. Skills and working style

The ideal candidate brings strong leadership ability, deep knowledge of financial services products, and confidence using technology and new platforms quickly. Success in this role also depends on excellent organization, attention to detail, strong prioritization, advanced MS Office and internet skills, clear writing, strong interpersonal communication, and the ability to manage time well, collaborate across teams, adapt in a fast-moving environment, multitask, and stay motivated toward results.
