About the internship
This internship is a full-time, in-office opportunity in Kolkata for someone who wants to create video content that supports brand communication, employer branding, internal messaging, leadership updates, explainer content, social media, and marketing initiatives. You will collaborate with writers, designers, strategists, and senior team members in a boutique consulting and communication environment where ideas, learning, and thoughtful execution are valued.
What you will do
- Edit a wide range of corporate and brand videos, including films, explainers, internal communication pieces, employer branding content, social clips, and campaign assets.
- Combine scripts, voice-overs, raw clips, stock material, music, graphics, supers, and other elements into polished and easy-to-follow edits.
- Produce short-form content such as reels, LinkedIn videos, YouTube edits, presentation videos, and other text-driven communication formats.
- Enhance videos with subtitles, transitions, background scores, sound effects, simple motion graphics, and text animations when needed.
- Help choose footage, organize visual sequences, and improve the rhythm, structure, and overall flow of each edit.
- Reformat videos into different sizes and aspect ratios for social media, websites, presentations, and internal platforms.
- Work closely with creative and strategy teams to align each video with the intended message and business objective.
- Keep project folders, media assets, audio files, and exported versions neatly organized.
- Support post-production work to deliver high-quality videos on time.
- Maintain consistency with brand guidelines across all projects.
Who can apply
Applicants must be available for a full-time, in-office internship, able to begin between 4 July 2026 and 8 August 2026, and committed to a 3-month duration. This opportunity is open only to candidates from Kolkata who have relevant skills and a genuine interest in video editing and visual storytelling.
Additional requirements
- Graduates, diploma holders, or students from Film Editing, Animation, Visual Communication, Mass Communication, Media Studies, Multimedia, Design, or similar disciplines.
- Freshers are welcome if they have a strong showreel, portfolio, internship work, college projects, or freelance editing samples.
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro is required; basic familiarity with Adobe After Effects is a plus.
- A solid grasp of pacing, music usage, subtitles, shot selection, and visual continuity is expected.
- You should be open to feedback and willing to learn video formats used in corporate, brand, and business communication.
- Kolkata-based candidates are preferred.
- Applicants should be able to share a CV with a showreel link, portfolio link, or examples of edited work.
