Job Overview
Aarorn Technologies Inc is hiring a Backend Performance Testing Engineer to support backend systems that must remain scalable, dependable, and efficient when exposed to heavy demand. The role focuses on performance validation, diagnostics, and database checks to uncover bottlenecks and improve system behavior.
Location and Work Arrangement
This position is based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, with an onsite expectation of three days per week.
Compensation
The offered rate is CAD 40 per hour (inclusive).
Key Responsibilities
The selected engineer will design and run load, stress, and endurance tests; monitor system behavior with diagnostics tools; validate backend data and transactions through SQL; analyze performance indicators such as response time, throughput, CPU, and memory use; and help troubleshoot test environments and infrastructure limitations.
Tools and Technical Focus
Day-to-day work involves performance testing platforms such as LoadRunner, JMeter, and K9, along with Dynatrace for tracing and system monitoring. The role also requires working with Kubernetes or similar infrastructure tooling when investigating environment issues.
Qualifications
Applicants should have solid hands-on experience in backend performance testing, practical knowledge of Dynatrace, strong SQL skills for database validation, and the ability to interpret metrics and identify root causes through analytical problem-solving.
