This remote internship is with a small, research-focused systematic investing team that develops rule-based trading strategies and the tools that support them. The work centers on strategy research, backtesting, data handling, and translating research outputs into usable product updates.

About the company

The organization builds, tests, and operates systematic trading “sleeves,” each designed to run independently with its own signals, automated execution checks, and alerting. The current strategy set includes a leveraged-equity sleeve using a 3x Nasdaq-100 ETF on a regime/trend framework, a leveraged S&P sleeve, a Bitcoin trend/regime sleeve, and a managed-futures diversifier sleeve.

Key responsibilities

The selected intern will contribute to quantitative research and implementation work across the strategy pipeline.

• Design and validate strategy backtests, including honest stress testing with walk-forward analysis, realistic trading costs, and out-of-sample checks.
• Build and maintain data pipelines that pull in market and SEC data from multiple APIs, while also checking data quality.
• Convert research findings into product-ready outputs such as dashboard or tracker updates and clear written summaries.

Eligibility

This opportunity is open only to candidates who can work from home, begin between 9 June 2026 and 14 July 2026, and commit to a 6-month duration. Applicants should bring relevant skills and an interest in the role. Women looking to begin or return to their careers are also welcome to apply.

Stipend

The internship offers a stipend of INR 2,000 per month.
