About the Role
This position is focused on ensuring that financial statements and statutory reports are prepared, reviewed, audited, and submitted on time and in line with the relevant accounting standards. The role also covers tax compliance and return filing across group entities.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the business team and support matters related to financial statements.
- Drive the timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closure of books of accounts.
- Coordinate with statutory auditors for limited reviews and year-end closing activities.
- Ensure XBRL and other statutory submissions are completed within timelines and in accordance with accounting policies.
- Provide on-demand financial information and data support to business units.
- Partner regularly with tax consultants on compliance, advisory, representation, and litigation matters.
- Prepare audit schedules in the format required for statutory liabilities, auditors, and business teams, and support closure of audit queries.
Technical Requirements
- Strong understanding of Ind AS, Schedule III, and CARO reporting requirements.
- Working knowledge of income tax, GST, and company law compliance.
- Understanding of related party transaction reporting and disclosure requirements.
- Familiarity with SEBI LODR requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates should be a Chartered Accountant or hold an MBA in Finance, with 5 to 9 years of relevant experience. Exposure to SAP is also required.
