Key responsibilities

• Keep common areas in the buildings clean and presentable through routine sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and similar tasks.
• Clean glass and chrome surfaces, treat carpet stains, and use air freshener where appropriate.
• Support apartment turn-over by helping prepare vacant units for new occupants, including cleaning floors, bathrooms, surfaces, and windows.
• Maintain halls, vents, light fixtures, emergency lighting, fire extinguishers, landings, entrances, elevators, the laundry room, and the office area.
• Carry out outdoor upkeep such as raking, shoveling snow, and salting walkways when seasonal conditions require it.
• Remove garbage from containers and keep the area around dumpsters clean and orderly.

Requirements

• High school diploma or two years of related cleaning experience.
• Working knowledge of suitable cleaning products and equipment.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, push, pull, and climb stairs repeatedly.
