Role Overview

This position is responsible for planning electrical power distribution systems and coordinating the selection and installation of electrical equipment across new and existing sites. The role requires alignment with project leadership on layout decisions and installation timelines, while ensuring delivery against agreed deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to:

• Plan and implement power distribution networks and related systems so that project and site power needs are met in a cost-effective and energy-efficient way.
• Work closely with Construction Projects and Site Managers to arrange services for new projects and ensure committed timelines and milestones are achieved.
• Confirm that all electrical installation activities comply with the 16th Edition standards of the Institute of Electrical Engineers.
• Develop team capability by arranging internal or external training for subordinates so they can install the equipment and utility services required by the Farming Division.
• Make sure all electrical installation personnel follow the Almarai Health & Safety Manual and contribute to a safe working environment.
• Coordinate with the Divisional CAD Engineer to keep as-built electrical drawings current and complete.
• Track expenditure against budget, identify actual or potential overruns, and agree corrective actions with the Projects Manager and Divisional Engineering Manager.

Qualifications and Experience

• A qualified Electrical Engineer.
• Certified in the 16th Edition of Electrical Installation Standards.
• At least 8 years of experience installing electrical plant and machinery in an industrial setting.
• Practical knowledge of power distribution network design, installation of fixed and mobile electrical systems, and medium- and low-voltage plant systems.
