Key responsibilities
- Guide customers with knowledgeable help on lumber and building material purchases
- Help customers load products safely and efficiently
- Review invoices and confirm that the correct items are being issued
- Handle daily department upkeep, including unloading trucks, sorting lumber, arranging stock, cleaning, pricing items, and keeping pallets and inventory areas orderly
- Help maintain a clean and safe environment for both staff and customers
- Complete opening and closing tasks in the yard when required
- Carry out other duties that help the store operate smoothly
Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
- Previous familiarity with building materials is considered an advantage
