CodeQuery is an expanding software development firm that builds technology solutions for clients across the globe. The team is seeking a driven SEO professional who can strengthen search visibility, grow organic visits, and help improve rankings across its digital properties.
Job Overview
This is a full-time, work-from-office SEO role based in Patna, Bihar. The position is suited to someone with at least 1 year of practical SEO experience and a strong interest in measurable organic growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Research keywords to uncover strong opportunities for search traffic.
- Plan and execute both on-page and off-page SEO initiatives.
- Improve website copy, meta information, URLs, headings, and internal links for search performance.
- Review websites regularly to spot and fix technical SEO problems.
- Use tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console to track performance.
- Earn quality backlinks using ethical link-building methods.
- Monitor keyword positions, site traffic, and competitor activity.
- Work closely with content and development teams to apply SEO best practices.
- Share weekly and monthly SEO reports with clear insights and recommendations.
- Keep up with search engine updates, changing SEO trends, and current best practices.
Required Skills and Experience
- At least 1 year of practical experience in search engine optimization.
- Good knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
- Hands-on exposure to Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Google Keyword Planner, and tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, or Screaming Frog.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and how websites are structured.
- Working familiarity with WordPress or similar CMS platforms.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and communication skills.
- Capacity to work on your own and handle several projects at the same time.
Preferred Profile
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Applications, or a related discipline is preferred.
- SEO or Google Analytics certifications will be considered a plus.
- Previous SEO experience in IT services, software companies, or B2B environments is desirable.
