Senior SQL Database Administrator – Microsoft Dynamics GP

Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned SQL Database Administrator to support a client in Dubai, with a strong focus on Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) and General Ledger administration. This is an onsite contract role with a general day shift schedule.

Core Experience Needed

• At least 7 years of experience administering SQL Server databases
• Minimum 5 years of practical experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains)
• Solid background in General Ledger administration
• Advanced knowledge of T-SQL, query tuning, and performance optimization
• Hands-on experience with database backup and recovery, security controls, and high availability solutions
• Good understanding of accounting concepts and finance-related workflows

Preferred Background

• Exposure to SmartConnect or Integration Manager
• Familiarity with Power BI, SSRS, or Management Reporter
• Experience supporting Payables, Receivables, and Fixed Assets modules
• Previous work in SOX-compliant or audited environments
