Role overview
We are looking for a Shift Production Engineer to oversee production activities during assigned shifts, improve operational efficiency, and take ownership of quality and key performance metrics on the factory floor.
Key responsibilities
- Manage shift output while ensuring production goals, quality expectations, and safety requirements are consistently met.
- Lead lean manufacturing initiatives, including cell layout optimization and elimination of waste.
- Support the introduction of new products into the manufacturing process.
- Prepare and maintain production records and standardized work instructions.
- Apply FMEA and poka-yoke methods to strengthen process reliability and error prevention.
- Plan for plant start-up and shutdown activities and respond effectively to equipment or process breakdowns.
- Contribute to production budget planning and monitor KPI performance.
Required qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred; a diploma is also acceptable.
- 10 to 12 years of experience working as a Production Engineer.
- Availability and readiness to work in shift-based schedules.
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication capabilities.
- Knowledge of SAP or NetSuite is beneficial, though not mandatory.
- Good understanding of HSE practices and 5S workplace standards.
- Experience in automotive or steel fabrication manufacturing environments.
- Exposure to fabrication, assembly, or plating operations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage production shifts within a manufacturing setting.

This is a full-time onsite role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
