Role overview
This position is focused on independently preparing cost estimates and providing cost guidance for a range of capital, production, maintenance, HSE, and refinery shutdown projects. The role also supports internal plant modification initiatives aimed at improving refinery performance, production outcomes, and health, safety, and environmental requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Develop independent cost estimates and deliver cost advice for capital, production, maintenance, HSE, and refinery shutdown initiatives.
- Prepare cost estimates for internal plant modification work intended to optimize refinery processes and strengthen production and HSE performance.
Experience and skills
- Bring at least 12 years of oil and gas industry experience covering cost estimation, contractor coordination, planning, and costing.
- Demonstrate strong spoken and written English, along with effective communication and presentation abilities.
- Be proficient in MS Office tools and show leadership, motivation, and problem-solving capability.
Education and certification
- A degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Process Engineering from an internationally recognized university is required.
- PMP certification and/or CCP certification, or certified cost engineer credentials from AACE, are considered advantageous.
