Store Manager

Role overview

The Store Manager is responsible for directing day-to-day store activity and making sure the location runs smoothly, safely, and in line with company standards. This role covers operational leadership, visual presentation, staffing, training, scheduling, and inventory control.

Key responsibilities

• Take charge of overall store operations while following company procedures and policies.
• Coach, motivate, and develop store team members so the store can meet performance targets.
• Support merchandising, replenishment, stocking, and unloading daily deliveries.
• Provide high-quality customer support and handle difficult customer concerns effectively.
• Keep the store’s visual presentation aligned with brand standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety across the store.
• Manage cash handling procedures and oversee opening and closing duties.
• Share performance observations and assign tasks to team members.
• Support recruitment, hiring, and employee performance management activities.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in retail and team leadership.
• Availability to work across day, evening, and weekend shifts.
• Strong communication and sound decision-making skills.
• Proven leadership ability along with problem-solving capability.
• Comfort working in a busy environment where priorities can change quickly.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and set priorities effectively.

Additional information

The benefits noted with an asterisk apply only to full-time employees. Full-time status is reached after working 25 hours per week for 16 consecutive weeks, allowing one grace week below 25 hours.
