Role Overview
This role is focused on getting the dining area ready before service, keeping it neat and well-presented throughout the day, and supporting the team while serving guests. The position also involves helping with table service and ensuring the dining hall remains clean, organized, and welcoming.
Key Responsibilities
- Help with morning cleaning tasks in the restaurant.
- Wash and prepare service utensils before each shift or service period.
- Support the captain waiter in arranging the restaurant setup.
- Maintain a tidy personal appearance and follow strong hygiene standards.
- Assist the captain waiter with mise en place preparation.
- Carry dishes from the kitchen to the dining area.
- Help place food plates on customers’ tables under supervision.
- Replace ashtrays and refill water glasses during service.
- Clear tables after guests finish their meals and clean them properly.
- Take used plates and glasses to the dishwashing section.
- Carry out instructions from the captain waiter and work under their direction.
