Overview

The Website Coordinator supports the City of Pearland’s online presence by managing website content, improving the user experience, and keeping pages current, organized, and compliant. This role combines content management, writing, design awareness, accessibility, and coordination with city departments.

Core Duties

  • Publish brand-new website content and keep existing pages updated.
  • Handle ongoing website upkeep, including adding public meeting agendas and minutes, press releases, calendar entries, and new or revised pages as needed.
  • Write and refine digital content so it performs well for search, accessibility, readability, and the City of Pearland’s voice.
  • Support a consistent visual identity and site structure across city websites, ensuring alignment with governance standards.
