About the internship

This internship is for final-year engineering students who want hands-on exposure to conversational AI in Indian languages. You will help build and refine AI voice bots that can speak naturally, understand user intent, and respond accurately in regional languages.

Markytics works in data science, machine learning, analytics, and statistical modelling, partnering with clients to improve profitability, customer experience, and customer understanding through practical data-driven solutions. The organisation aims to make data science approachable and usable for businesses of all sizes.

What you will do

Build AI voice bot setups based on client needs, including scripts and conversation paths, so responses match the expected behaviour in the assigned language.
Set up conversational journeys on the client’s platform and adapt scripts so they feel natural rather than directly translated.
Check bot conversations for correctness, pronunciation quality, flow, and overall working.
Verify that the bot performs well in the assigned language(s).
Run simulated customer cases and unusual scenarios to pressure-test the bot before release.
Carry out regression checks whenever scripts are changed or deployed.
Adjust voice, tone, and pronunciation so they align with the client’s brand style.
Track, note, and escalate bugs or inconsistencies.
Work with the technical team to help deliver projects on schedule.
Assist with user acceptance testing with clients and respond quickly to feedback.
Observe bot performance after launch and highlight issues seen in real usage.
Keep testing records and script version history updated, and share suggestions for improvement.

Who can apply

Applicants must be available for a work-from-home internship, able to begin between 8 July 2026 and 12 August 2026, and commit to a 6-month duration. Candidates should also have relevant skills and interest in the role.

Other requirements

You must be in the final year of B.Tech in any branch, including CS, IT, ECE, or another discipline, and be graduating in 2026.
You should be a native or fluent speaker of Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, or Malayalam.
You need to be available for a full-time remote internship for 6 months.
A genuine interest in AI and voice technology is expected.
Strong attention to detail is important so you can spot when a conversation does not sound right.
You should be comfortable working with a team and documenting feedback clearly.
No prior AI experience is required; training will be provided.
