Game Development Intern

About the internship

UD Studios is looking for motivated interns to contribute to game-building projects focused on mobile and indie titles. The work centers on creating engaging gameplay experiences while learning inside a team that blends creativity with technical execution.

What you will do

• Support the creation and implementation of gameplay systems using Unity and C#.
• Contribute to both 2D and 3D game development, including level design and character interactions.
• Find and fix issues, then help improve game performance across mobile and PC builds.
• Playtest features and share observations that can improve the overall player experience.

What we are looking for

• Working familiarity with Unity and C#.
• Exposure to game physics, animation systems, and UI development.
• Strong interest in gaming and a genuine willingness to learn.
• Comfort working with others in a collaborative team setup.
• Any prior game-development work, including personal projects, will be considered an advantage.

Who can apply

This opportunity is open to candidates who can work remotely, are available to begin between 1 July 2026 and 5 August 2026, can commit to a 3-month internship, and have the relevant skills and interest for the role. Computer Science Engineering students may apply, and freshers seeking opportunities can also be considered.

Compensation

The stipend is ₹3,000 to ₹6,000 per month. If converted to a permanent role, the expected salary range is ₹2,50,000 to ₹4,00,000 per year.

The internship is based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, and is offered as a part-time remote position. The application deadline is 31 July 2026 at 11:59:59 PM. Working days are 5 days a week.
