Role Summary

This is a full-time remote position for a Data Specialist at On The Record, Inc. The role focuses on handling litigation-related data that supports multimedia trial presentations and case preparation. The specialist will collect, clean, analyze, and organize data, help build and maintain data models, and ensure that information remains accurate, consistent, and useful for trial workflows.

What You Will Do

• Gather, prepare, and clean litigation data for use in trial presentation work.
• Analyze data to surface useful findings that support case strategy and preparation.
• Maintain organized and reliable data sets, including both structured and unstructured legal information.
• Build and update data models and schemas aligned to case and presentation needs.
• Work with legal and technical teams to make sure data structures fit the requirements of each matter.
• Record procedures, produce reports or dashboards when needed, and contribute to stronger data practices over time.

What We’re Looking For

The preferred candidate will bring strong skills in data analytics, data management, and analytical problem-solving. Experience with data modeling is important, along with comfort using spreadsheets and data tools such as Excel, SQL, or BI platforms. The role also calls for excellent attention to detail, strong organization, the ability to work independently in a remote setting, and clear written and verbal communication. A bachelor’s degree in data science, statistics, information systems, computer science, or a related discipline is preferred, though equivalent hands-on experience may also be considered. Experience in legal, litigation, or multimedia presentation environments is an advantage.
