Role Overview
The Houseperson supports the smooth day-to-day running of housekeeping and guest services by maintaining standards throughout the hotel, assisting with laundry delivery, helping with room setup needs, and responding to enquiries in a professional manner.
Key Duties
- Respond to guest and team enquiries with courtesy, efficiency, and professionalism.
- Maintain a consistently polite and professional service approach.
- Track and carry out the daily rotation of housekeeping stock.
- Complete routine cleaning activities across hotel areas as required.
- Deliver guest laundry quickly and in line with Park Hyatt Sydney standards.
- Help relocate furniture when special room arrangements are needed.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as a houseman or room attendant in a 5-star hotel.
- Ability to handle manual tasks safely and effectively.
- Working knowledge of hygiene standards.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
